Jewellery is not a nessecity item, let's face it if we had to we could live without it!
But I know that in other ways it is a nessecity item, as it's a way to share love, a story or friendship, it's a way to express ourselves or it can give us courage (just to name a few!!!)
Because of this it's important to me that my jewellery does not contribute to fast fashion but will last & last to be enjoyed for a very long time, for it to be passed down through the generations of a family collecting stories as it goes.
Hazel's Jewellery Shop only makes eco-conscious silver jewellery using recycled silver, that is made to last. Slow jewellery that is often one of a kind to avoid the mass production making model.
You can be assured that I never use harmful chemicals in any of my making processes (as they often are during many silver smithing techniques). As such chemicals disperse into our atmosphere or leach into our earth, causing harm to our environment & people.
Plus all gemstones used in my designs are bought from reputable companies that provide ethically sourced & traceable gemstones.
There is no point in having a beautiful piece of jewellery if it has caused harm to our Earth or anyone (human or animal) living on it
