Inspired by the elegance of Victorian collar jewellery and the era's fascination with using animals as literal motifs, this handcrafted silver necklace gives the traditional collar pin a Gothic twist.
Two silver bats sit on either side of the design, connected by delicate lengths of silver chain to recreate the draped appearance of a vintage collar pin. Each bat has been individually textured with an intricate swirling pattern.
The entire design is suspended from a delicate silver chain, creating an unusual statement necklace that draws inspiration from historic fashion while still feeling beautifully wearable today.

This necklace has been slowly and thoughtfully handcrafted.
Materials & Measurements
The two bats have been handcrafted using fine silver clay, made from recycled silver particles, water and an organic binder.
Each bat is individually shaped and given its vintage-inspired swirl texture while the clay is still workable. After refining, the pieces are fired, burning away the binder and transforming them into solid fine silver.
The bats are connected using eco-sterling silver chain and findings before being suspended from a delicate eco-sterling silver necklace chain.
Bats measure: 30mm wide, 14mm drop
Necklace length: includes decorative chain 18 inches
