Once hailed as a marvel of modern manufacturing, plastic has morphed into an ecological adversary, confronting our planet with one of its most significant challenges. Its presence across our oceans and landscapes is an urgent call for action. As it degrades, plastic inflicts lasting harm on our environment, the eco-systems, animals & us!
Sustainability isn’t just a part of Hazel’s Jewellery Shop it’s in every decision I make.
From the materials I work with to the way your jewellery arrives with you, I’m always thinking about how to reduce my impact on the planet because something that looks beautiful should do beautiful too!
The idea of “Planet over Plastic” is something I actively try to live through my business. That means:
Working with suppliers who align with my values and use compostable, plastic-free packaging
Buying in bulk where possible to minimise waste
Making sure your order arrives in completely plastic-free packaging
It’s a small way of contributing to a bigger change but together each little change adds up
